January - April 2018:
Children are affected most by the terrible consequences of war and military conflicts. Their lives are torn apart. This is why we want to donate 20% of our net gains of our scarfs sold in the period from January - April 2018 to the independent organization www.warchild.org.uk
September - December 2017:
In this autumn we well as in earlier years support Hips-Charity-Organization, a kindergarten and school project in Ghana, Afrika. This organization was founded by Mrs Brigitte Honsel and I feel very lucky to call her my friend. In 1998 it started as kindergarten in one of the neediest suburbs of Accra, soon it was further developed. In these days Hips offers an education for over 200 kids from kindergarten to Junior High School. 20% of our net gains will support this project from Sept. till December 2017. And as I know the organization personally I really know, the donation will reach those in need. As this is a very personal post, I send you kindest regards, Heike Kugelmann, Founder of EIGENTUCH
May - August 2017:
We want to support something local this time. A fixed amount goes to NaBu in our home base, Böblingen Germany, an organisation for environmental support projects.
January - April 2017:
This choice was without question. We have to support those how are too little to speak for themselves. In Spring 2017 we want to support the organization "Save the Children" and their projects in Syria. 20% of all proceeds of sales of our scarfs will support their work in this area. We cannot change the world, but we can try not to close our eyes and make a humble contribution.
October - December 2016:
We want to participate in the fight against cancer. In the "Breast Cancer Awareness Month October" we donate 50% of all proceeds out of all sales of scarves in the colors pink or rosé to the foundation Deutsche Krebshilfe.
June - September 2016
In June we re-launched our store. In the months from June to September we have supported a school and kindergarden in Ghana. Hips-Charity-Organisation looks after over 200 kids, offering them not only education but also a warm meal and clothes.
